I thought I'd add some pictures in of what it looked like in my neighborhood after our "blizzard". The kids were in heaven after the loader came through and pushed up this big pile of snow that they could slide down into the cornfield. I told Brandon that if I weren't pregnant I'd be grabbing Bradyn's sled and heading down there myself!!

We have a private guy that plows our subdivision out but he called in for reinforcements so here is the loader making his way through.

A big THANK YOU to our friend Matt who so graciously came over and plowed out our driveway and this is what it looked like when he was done. Makes it a little hard to see when backing out of the driveway if there are any cars coming.

It took the dog a little bit to find an area where she could make it over the snow piles but now that she has she's in doggy heaven just jumping through the snow.

Birthday Boy

Bradyn turned 3 on Saturday and he was pretty excited. If you ask him when his birthday is he says Januware (he drops off the "ary" at the end and changes it with "wear") but he does get the 22nd part right. So anyway, when he woke up Saturday morning I asked him if he knew what day it was and he said: "Yes, it's summer". Not really the answer I was looking for so I reminded him that it was the 22nd and it was his birthday and he proceeded with: "is it coming, where is it?" With little more explanation he seems to finally understand and was rather please to show
everyone his 3 fingers.
Here are a few pictures while opening presents: he got some new foam letters/numbers to play with in the tub along with a bottle of bath bubbles.
Brandon bought him the Shrek DVD set. Notice the fake smile, he's going through the stage of when asked to smile he tries to hard and either completely shuts his eyes or has this half smile. He tried so hard to blow out the candles but ended up needing some help from dad. You can't really see but his birthday theme was Toy Story since he is absolutely in love with Toy Story 3 right now.
Tonight he tried out the new bath bubbles, which is the first time we've done that along with his new bath letters. They are just foam letters and numbers and when they get wet they stick to the tub so we hung up his name. Both were a big hit and it made it rather hard to make him get out of the tub. He was having more fun just smearing the bubbles all over himself and throwing the suds around (most of which ended up outside of the tub on me and on the floor).
